Reporting Fly Tipping and Other Waste Crime

Please note that the Waste Crime Roundtable does not take reports for fly tipping or other types of waste crime.

To report fly tipping please contact your local authority. If the fly tipping is of a large-scale then this should be reported to the Environment Agency. For crimes in progress please contact the police on 999. You can also make reports anonymously to CrimeStoppers.

When making a report the following information is really helpful to investigating organisations:

• Firstly do not touch or disturb the waste or try to confront those involved.
• If you see fly tipping taking place, if it is safe to do so try to make a note of how many people are involved and what they look like, the details of any vehicles involved, and what type of waste is being deposited.
• Use What3Words to obtain a location of the fly tipping or illegal dumping.
